Ann Rutherford!
Patrick Visits Ann (2000)!

I was able to visit Ann Rutherford for a week in August & September, 2000. I had a great time!

Some of the people I met were:

	Me, Rand Brooks & Leonard Maltin. Rand appeared with Ann in three films, Dramatic School, Love Finds Andy Hardy, and as Scarlet O'Hara's first husband Charles Hamilton in Gone With The Wind!
	Barbara Billingsley & me (from Leave It To Beaver, she gave me the tightest hug I've had in a long time!)
	Mala Powers, me, and Gigi Perreau
	Rand Brooks, and Ann Rutherford!
	Jean Porter
	Peggy Ryan, Leonard Maltin, Jean Porter
	Patrick & Marsha Hunt , who starred with Ann in three films: The Hardy's Ride High, Pride and Prejudice, and These Glamour Girls
	Dorothy Morris starred with Ann in This Time For Keeps & Caren Marsh, who was Judy Garland's double in The Wizard Of Oz, used to double date with Ann when they were teenagers! Did you know that Dorothy & Caren are also sisters?!

Other people in the room I met, but have no photos of, were:
John Agar, Frank Coghlan Jr., Anne Gwynne, Gloria Jean, Dick Jones, Jimmy Lydon, Trudy Marshall, Peggy Moran, Noel Neill, Margaret O'Brien, Ann Richards, Jane Withers, and many others!

Shannon & I went out to Hamburger Hamlet with Ann for dinner. Another night we went out to LaScala, an Italian restaurant also in Beverly Hills.

We went to show tapings for Change Of Heart, a pilot for a Sybil Shepard talk show at Sony (formerly MGM), and a tour of Warner Brothers Studios.

I had dinner with Hadda Brooks, the Queen of Boogie and star of several movies. The first black woman to have her own television show in the 1950's is now 84, and she's still giving concerts!

On the night before leaving California we went out to dinner at The Cheesecake Factory in Beverly Hills!

I had a great time in California again, and I hope to return to visit Ann soon!
